      Jeep XJ Cherokee Power Brake Conversion Kit
       

      Dave's Customs Unlimited HEAVY DUTY power brake conversion kit designed for 1987 to 2001 Jeep Cherokee with or without ABS brakes.

       
      This conversion kit is ideal for aftermarket axles and brake setups or just plain upgrading from ABS to non-ABS. It is a known fact that the factory ABS setups used on these Jeeps was very problematic and very costly to repair. This is a very cost effective alternative to repairing your factory ABS setup. This set up is unique because it is a dual diaphragm brake booster and a high performance master cylinder.
       
      All components are BRAND NEW and not re-manufactured. Various bore master cylinders available for disc and drum combo or disc and disc combo.
       
      THE KIT INCLUDES:
      • 8" dual diaphragm brake booster
      • High performance master cylinder with a matched bore diameter for your particular application
      • Adjustable push rod assembly for fine tuning adjustment
      • Master cylinder bench bleeding kit

      NOTE: Additional fitting may be needed and some modifications may be necessary to firewall upper lip and brake lines at master cylinder on some applications.

      NOTE: Kit can be used to convert from ABS to non-ABS.
       
      If using rear disc brakes, we highly recommend eliminating the proportioning valve or installing a manual adjustable one such as (PVC-B).
       
      NOTE:Engine vacuum needs to be a minimum of 18 inches of vacuum at idle when engine is warm for power brake setup to function properly. Please confirm prior to ordering.
